3 Denim Inspired Outfits For Halloween

It’s that time of year again where Halloween is upon us! So many get excited and plan their outfits months in advance, while others prefer to leave things last minute and make do with what they have. For those of you looking to incorporate some denim into your costume and keep things simple, yet stylish, we have each put together a look which should hopefully give you inspiration! Ranging from Kanye West and Karl Lagerfeld from Jonathan and Jennifer, to my own army girl combo. I think there’s something for everyone! Which do you like the most?

Jonathan’s Look

This year I decided to chose an outfit inspired by Kanye West’s stage look from the Watch The Throne tour. It has become a look that is considered iconic because of its muted color palette, yet still being memorizing. I chose the J Brand L8001 Leather Pants in Noir as my choice in jeans because just like Kanye’s look, it has been a style that has showed stability in the market. I then chose a muscle shirt by Rick Owens for its length. Of course the look could not be done without a Givenchy piece as Riccardo Tisci designed each of his outfits during the tour, so I chose this sweater with a star motif. Then to finish it off, a kilt like leather skirt by Belstaff and a pair of Nike Jordan IVs to bring the whole vibe together. What are you guys dressing up as this year?

Lorna’s Look

For my Halloween look this year, I decided to go for something completely different. I usually do a cat or something along those lines as Halloween over here in England is celebrated with scary outfits, however I decided to go the American route this time and choose something none scary! I’ve opted for an army/camo girl look and these True Religion camo jeans were the perfect pair to set this outfit up. I matched them with a camo print shirt from J.Crew and then some Steve Madden combat boots and a beanie to finish the military clothing off. Then for accessories, I added a touch of cool with the Ray-Ban Wayfarers and dog tags and then made it feminine with red lipstick and nail polish. If I didn’t already have my outfit planned, I would definitely wear this!

Jennifer’s Look

For my Halloween look, I took a note from a fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld. I put together an outfit styled after his signature black and white looks. I chose these Rag & Bone black skinny jeans, because Karl tends to wear a slimmer silhouette. I added this white dress shirt from Alexander Wang and this Givenchy black wool blazer. The key to this look is really in the accessories. Karl tends to wear ribbons tied at the neck, so I chose this Dolce & Gabbana one and would secure it with this Nina star pin. Karl is rarely ever seen without his other signature piece, fingerless gloves, so I chose this pair from Marc Jacobs. For shoes, I chose these Kenneth Cole loafers and these dark rimmed aviator style glasses from Celine. Lastly, I added a fluffy white cat like Karl’s beloved Choupette.
