3×1 Jeans Review [March 2024]

3×1 jeans were a staple of NYC fashion in both aesthetic and location but it looks like they have been acquired by a company in Europe and are now produced in Italy.

I believe their website was offline for a while but it looks like they are back, albeit in very limited fashion. ShopBop still has a couple of their pieces, as well as Revolve.

Most chatter online seems to center on what happened to the brand rather than what they are coming out with next. Supplies via re-sellers and wholesalers are pretty limited. The price point is around $400 per pair of jeans so they have transitioned into very premium territory.

Research / Frequent Questions

3×1’s History

3×1 jeans are the third brainchild of founder Scott Morrison, preceded by Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn. Launched in 2011, their brick and mortar store is in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, right on Mercer Street.

You may have heard of 3×1’s bespoke program — loved by athletes and sartorialists who love having blue jeans with a perfect fit.

Other than their custom denim — which is catered to men — 3×1 also runs a successful women’s business. Their aesthetic remains true and classic, with comfortable fabrics, and attention to detail that makes their denim remain consistent and popular.
