New Denim Brand: Bluer Premium Denim

A new premium denim brand, Bluer Denim, has just launched. The brains behind the brand is Agave denim designer Jeff Schafer. While the denim market is crowded, Bluer has found a couple of unique ways to stand out. Initially, the brand’s launch was funded by a Kickstarter campaign.

The idea behind the brand is to create a transparently sourced denim brand that was affordable and made in America. The jeans are designed in Oregon, the denim is made in both Georgia and North Carolina, while the hardware and rivets are produced in Kentucky. The jeans are then washed, sewn and assembled in Los Angeles.

Besides being made in the US, Bluer Denim also focuses on sustainability, with their buy one get one program. For each pair of jeans that a customer buys, the brand will buy back a pair of the customer’s used jeans for $5 and then donate them to someone in need.

The brand also offers a try it on at home program, which allows you to try on pairs of jeans at home, for free, and then ship back the unwanted pairs within 14 days.

The brand offers both men’s and women’s styles. Women’s styles include skinny, matchstick, boyfriend and bootcut styles in a variety of light and dark washes, and come in regular and long lengths, as well as denim jackets and shirts. Men’s styles include slim and straight legs, jackets and tees. Prices start at $98.00 and are available on Bluerdenim.com.
