Denim Review: Diesel Tepphar Ne Jogg Jeans in 0811W

This is a guest review from an avid Diesel fan, for the male readers who love Diesel too!

Today I’m going to be doing a guest review on the new Diesel Tepphar 0811W, a pair of the brands Jogg Jeans. I have been a fan of Diesel jeans for many years now, right from the heyday of the classic 772 wash. I have only recently been able to try the Jogg Jeans though. I was not really interested initially after seeing them and feeling the material, so was loath to try them as they just seemed like a gimmick and not like a pair of jeans should. I was finally convinced to give them a go and I am glad that I did.

I wish I’d have tried Jogg Jeans sooner, they are so comfortable. They are also so much softer and easier to wear than normal denim. Plus, you can actually move about freely in them even with them being a slim cut, yet they still look like normal jeans.
The Tepphar have a button above the fly, whereas the Krooley comes with drawstrings, which makes them seem even more like jogging bottoms/sweat pants. The Tepphar at least feels like a standard pair of jeans with the zip and button closure.

The Tepphar cut itself feels like a low rise slim leg skinny jean. It’s actually really nice if you want that skinny look without the jeans being too clingy like some can. I’m usually a size 30 in most washes of Thanaz and Thavar, so I took a size 30 in these. I would say they fit true to size, they just mould to your legs a bit more because of the material. The 0811W wash has a greenish tint to it, reminding me of the classic 710 wash from a few years back. It is a very beautiful wash, however due to the green colour, it can pose a problem trying to match it with other items in your wardrobe.

I would definitely recommend these jeans if you are looking to try a jean that’s a bit more comfortable and less restricting, you should check these out. If you prefer your denim more sturdy, selvedge or raw, I would personally avoid trying Jogg Jeans as they aren’t anything like that. If, however, the colour of these is too much for you, then you at least have to try Jogg Jeans in other colours for yourself. They come in numerous washes (I currently own two pairs) and are so comfortable. You get the joy of wearing a soft sweat pant, but with the look of a pair of jeans. Buy these jeans online at Diesel for £220.

A bit about Jogg Jeans from Diesel – JOGGJEANS are a unique fusion of design and a groundbreaking new fabric, that combines the iconic style and durability of denim with the relaxed attitude and comfort of sweatpants. It uses the same weaving method used to make denim, but with a special patented technique makes it look like denim on the outside and like jersey sweatpant fabric on the inside. It combines the softness, lightness, comfort, look and feel of knitted jersey, but with the advantages of being a woven denim fabric. This means that it retains its shape better, and can be given stronger treatments and washes. It can even be broken, which can’t be done with knitted fabrics.

Jeans C/O Diesel & opinions expressed are all my own.
