Check out the denim trends we spotted at Coachella this year!
Coachella is THE destination for all things music, fashion and art. The parties outside of the festival are great for trend spotting and a fun way to grab a drink and relax by a pool. I haven’t been to the actual festival in a while but I always love heading into Palm Springs for the parties. This year I covered the Siwy show at The Parker Hotel, and while I was there (and hopping around), I caught some stylish denim in the flesh (or on the flesh?).
Bloggers Stephanie Liu, Francis Lola, Ellen Lora, (yours truly) and Linh Winn all brought their best denim looks out this year and I love how they all did something different with their denim.
Ellen paired her Valley High tank with a midi denim skirt which I haven’t seen in a little while, and like it! Stephanie was bold and wore flares but kept them light with a thin tank. Both Francis and Linh layered their denim which added depth to their looks.
The bloggers weren’t the only best dressed these past two weekends, RackedLA editor, Natalie Alcala, wore the cutest little number including overalls and an off the shoulder top, while introducing her new baby boy to Kate Bosworth. DJ group, The Misshapes, brought some prints to the picture and Leigh Lezark topped hers with some black denim shorts. Other party go-ers rocked denim dresses, skirts and shorts.
As for the men, it seems that knee length denim shorts were the way to go, as blogger Reinaldo shows us how it’s done with the beautiful desert as his background.
