Wrangler has launched their Born Ready Adventures campaign, designed to inspire everyday adventures, just one hour away from the city. The campaign will see the introduction of Wrangler’s latest Ready products, featuring stylishly innovative water-resistant and winter-warming jeans that give wearers the freedom to transition seamlessly from work and city life to the great outdoors. Inspired by these products, Wrangler has teamed up with renowned adventurer Alastair Humphreys to create interactive online maps featuring guides to adventures in and around London, Manchester and Edinburgh in the UK, plus key cities in Germany and Poland. Users can refine their search to match the type of adventure they prefer, whether it’s cycling to the top of the highest local peak or a forest walk with friends. Wrangler will be encouraging users to upload their own Born Ready Adventures to the online map with the chance to win a host of prizes.

Wrangler’s partnership with Alastair Humphreys, explorer and pioneer of the ÔÇÿmicroadventure’ concept, will bring the initiative to life through a series of Born Ready Adventure films, which include top tips on how to prepare for everyday adventures. The series will also see lifestyle blogger Kamil Pawelski and German actor and presenter Jochen Schropp join Alastair to discover experiences in the great outdoors just outside the city limits.

Kamil and Alastair kick off the series, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city and journeying into more scenic surroundings just one hour away. Alastair comments: “You can find an adventure really close to home, wherever you live – escape the city and do something beautiful, different and new”. The film sees the pair roll up their jeans and attempt to float a handmade raft before heading off into the forest to set up camp. Kamil adds “It’s great as you can do all these activities without changing your clothes, just finish your job, pack your bag and head into the forest to make your own adventure”.

German actor Jochen Schropp and Alastair embark on an action packed adventure after just a short train journey out of the city. The film captures the pair on a scenic costal bike ride to the beach followed by a refreshing swim in the sea. Jochen comments “It is incredible if you think what you can see and experience just by travelling one hour out of the city. Just on your door step are beautiful meadows, forests and even lakes perfect for swimming in – I dare you”.
