Thigh-high boots were all over the Helmut Lang Fall/Winter 2012 collection. At first I thought that it was paneled leggings, but quickly realized that they were boots. The detail in the prints were very different than any other show. One of them resembled scraped concrete in red and brown. The other interesting print looked to be tree bark. I think they were very innovative and amazing.
The silhouettes were classic Helmut Lang; slim and sleek. Skin-tight leather leggings tucked into boots, slim jackets, and body-con dresses. I think the look on Jourdan Dunn above is just amazing. Every single detail on it is perfect. It is clean and simple, but nowhere near boring. Plus, all black and leather is involved, so I may be partial. You can see more looks from the collection below.
