Mardou & Dean Autumn Winter 2014

Here is the new Autumn Winter 2014 collection Mardou & Dean. The fashion show was held in one of Oslo’s preserved industrial buildings from the 1940s and was lit up by glow sticks. The models walked down the runway wearing chokers, guitar finger picks and magnetic ear studs to Andr├® Bratten’s moon modular and deep space grooves accompanied by Ledfoot┬┤s gothic blues.

“This season we wanted to create the feeling of the Aurora Borealis, staging an atmosphere of light and mystery. Dark blue, black and green intertwined with light reflective materials such as metallic leather, mirror and silver embroideries gives the collection a contemporary yet tailored look. Leather pieces, both for men and women, are more predominant in the collection as double leather is what we are dreaming of” said Ingrid Bredholt.

Mardou & Dean has teamed up with an artisan Italian atelier for an iconic range of leather pieces that are crafted to age gracefully. As in the denim line, the men’s and women’s collections work parallel; combining an androgynous silhouette with strong feminine and masculine vibes. The new leather jackets are inspired by the original caf├® racing design, and are combined with traditional Florentine leather techniques that create a laid-back luxury look. New colors for the season are deep blue and hardware in white gold.
