Lorna/DenimBlog Supports Hudson’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

I got to take part (representing DenimBlog) in the Hudson Jeans Breast Cancer Research Foundation campaign to help promote awareness. Hudson have been including their blogger friends in the campaign so we can all help spread the word about the foundation. They sent over a white board to all of us and we had to write ‘I Choose…’ followed by how we feel about it. I chose to write ‘I Choose To Fight For Life’ because life is important and you need to fight for it. Having the willpower and drive to fight and carry on in life is always something that helps, in my opinion. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a foundation I feel strongly about and I am glad I got to take part in spreading awareness.

Hudson wanted us all to wear a pair of Hudson Jeans for the photos and I chose the Nico skinny jeans in Chelsea which I love, you can read my review on them here. Hudson will actually be giving $5 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every jean bought on the Hudson website, www.hudsonjeans.com. So all of you can help support the foundation by buying a pair of Hudson Jeans! The pictures and the campaign are actually on the home page of the website too.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation┬« was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit organization, dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. In October 2011, BCRF will award $36.5 million to 186 scientists across the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and China. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs. With exceptionally low administrative costs, BCRF continues to be one of the most efficient organizations in the country and is designated an “A+” charity by The American Institute of Philanthropy, the only cancer organization to achieve this.
