A few weeks back I got the amazing opportunity to go to MAGIC as one of their official bloggers. Myself along with 30 something other bloggers got chauffeured on a bus via Rue La La to Vegas, got put up in a hotel and partook in numerous activities as official MAGIC bloggers. We spoke on panels, roamed around the floor in search of our favorite pieces, attended events, tweeted, instagramed and mingled with the vendors. Here’s a look at what the show had to offer….
There was a photo studio for companies to take professional photos of their best pieces to have for their own use, a video studio where such people as the Giogo girls would film live tapings, a section for emerging designers where they all applied and got chosen to be there free of cost just because of the potential they had, the blogger area where the panels were held and of course, the massive tradeshow itself full of vendors from every different area of fashion.
After the show on the second day, all the bloggers got invited to have a little soiree at the Vigoss booth. We sipped on Champagne, viewed the collection and enjoyed the best cakepops we’ve ever had in any of our lives. The colors and prints were phenomenal and so was the lookbook featuring Sky Ferreira plastered on their walls.
It was my first time at MAGIC and I had a blast. Meeting all the different companies, speaking on panels and documenting the whole thing was unreal. Until next time MAGIC!
