3 Ways to Style the J Brand Martini Flares in Shadow

For this post I decided to style the J Brand Martini Flares in Shadow (click here to buy for $176). Being Summer I think they will be a great choice to keep you cool while still looking chic. I chose the Shadow wash being that it is one of my favorites that J Brand has come out with and it is the most true to me.

This one has to be my favorite out of the three. One of the main reasons why I also chose these jeans to style is that they were the first pair that came to mind when I saw this Clover Canyon Jacket. I thought they would both compliment each other perfectly. I decided to play with clean lines with this look. I also wanted to add a jumble of bracelets to pile on the left wrist to help bring the look together because the sleeves of the jacket are cut short. I paired them with the Duffy tank from the J Brand RTW collection, The Row Metal-framed lizard clutch, Zeffira Rita Bangles, an Orly Genger by Jaclyn Mayer Annebelle Bracelet, Tai Gold Hook & Woven Leather Bracelet, and some Chloe Marcie Sandals. I think this look will work on many women. Even if the jeans are a bit to long and you decide to hack off the bottom (a la Christopher Kane x J Brand Flares) it will still work out just as fine.

I wanted to keep this look very simple and chic. One that you can go day to night with. A neutral printed shirt is the best way to spruce up an outfit without the sacrifice of looking put together. I paired the jeans with a floral printed Gucci shirt, Chloe Marci Clutch, Michael Kors Blair Watch, and some suede Balmain Sofia boots. I think if you tie your hair in a ponytail, roll up the sleeves on the shirt and do just a front tuck, this look will be perfect.

I always like to do one super casual look with each post and this is it. I think this is an easy Sunday look. One that you can easily throw on to just lounge around with friends in or go on a trip to the flea market. I paired the jeans with a plaid Boy. by Band of Outsiders shirt, Lovely Bird Biarritz Felt Hat, Spell Bone & Tassel Bag, and some Sam Edelman Gigi Sandals. I usually pile on the jewelry with the casual looks to help spruce it up a bit, but I wanted to keep this one simple. I think with all the detail in the bag and hat, it would look overwhelming. Like the first look, I think, if these jeans are too long to wear with flat shoes, I think a fray and slit at the outseam would work really well with the look.
